Windows 10 is Reaching End of Life
What’s Happening?
As of 14 October 2025, Microsoft will officially end support for Windows 10. This means the operating system will no longer receive any updates — including vital security patches and bug fixes.
While your devices may continue to operate as usual after this date, they will no longer be protected against new threats, which can leave your systems vulnerable and non-compliant with modern cybersecurity standards.
Why This Matters:
Without security updates, devices running Windows 10 are at increased risk of:
Malware and ransomware attacks
Unauthorised access or data breaches
System performance issues
Software incompatibility over time
For businesses, this poses a significant cybersecurity risk — especially when systems are connected to your network, handle sensitive information, or form part of day-to-day operations.
What You Should Do Now:
To determine whether your current devices can be upgraded to Windows 11, Microsoft has released a free compatibility tool.
